What are the Effects of the Sun Care Products
Sun care products are separated into two groups:
1. organic/ chemical filters which absorb the ultraviolet rays like a sponge
2. inorganic/ physical filters which reflect these rays like a mirror
Sun protection factor (SPF) is a unit of measurement which shows the sun care products’ effectiveness.
When we buy a sun care product, we should care about the ingredients.
At least 15 factor sun care products should be preferred. However, do not forget that SPF is a measurement for only protection against ultraviolet rays. The chosen sun care product should be a product which has a wide spectrum to be effective against UVA rays which is effective for the occurrence of skin aging, sunburns and cancer.
