A girl’s mani can be her signature style, but when the signature becomes art, we’re talking about manicure on another level – it’s called nail art, where imagination has no boundaries.
Japanese girls are wearing the most creative and outrageous adornments right on their fingertips.

The title of “Nail Queen 2009” in the actress category has been given to Japanese actress Fukada Kyoko (or simply known as Fukakyon), who wore the ruffled and polka-dotted acrylic nails.

2009 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show

The Victoria’s Secret fashion show is the most expected holiday event, featuring the world’s best bodies, luxurious couture lingerie and a fabulous show. Check out the 2009 Victoria’s Secret fashion show!

The Victoria’s Secret fashion show is one of the most popular fashion events each year which took place in New York City on Thursday, 19 November with model Heidi Klum as host of the event. Just 6 weeks after giving birth to fourth child, German model Heidi Klum, opened the show wearing a corset gown designed by Jane Law paired with Giuseppe Zanotti shoes.

This year’s Victoria Secret fashion show themes fell into four categories: Enchanted Forest, Star Trooper, Romantic Journey and Pink Planet.

The highlight of the show was the $3 million worth ‘Fantasy Bra’, modelled by Victoria’s Secret Angel Marisa Miller. The ‘Fantasy Bra’ is studded with 2,350 white, champagne and cognac diamonds placed in a harlequin pattern, with a rare 16-carat heart-shaped champagne diamond in the center.

The 2009 ‘Fantasy Bra’ is $2 million cheaper than last year’s modelled by Adriana Lima (who was absent from the 2009 Victoria’s Secret fashion show with Karolina Kurkova who are both taking maternity breaks).

The Victoria’s Secret Angels who hit the runway include Izabel Goulart, Isabeli Fontana, Erin Heatherton, Shannan Click, Caroline Winberg, Flavia Oliveira – all returned from last year and some fresh faces Lyndsey Scott, Aminata Niaria, Lily Aldridge, Liu Wren and new Angel Chanel Iman.

Beyonce Wins 3 Awards at the 2009 MTV EMAs

The MTV Music Awards, held in Germany, took place yesterday , on 5th of November. Many celebrities were hosted, many of them winning great prices, but one of the most intriguing presence was Beyonce amazing the crowd with her thanks to Jay- Z.

This time, Beyonce won two MTV awards, one for “Halo”, as the Best Song, and one for the well known “Single Ladies” announced as the Best Video. Also, she won the price of Best Female Artist. And when accepting the statue, Beyonce made a quite splashing announcement:
“There is only one person I want to thank and that is Jay for putting a ring on it!”

Beyonce also performed live at the event in a stunning hot red corset and garters. She started her performance with a group of men dancers with black masks, till she maid her way to the front to continue her dance with the well known female backup dancers. The hot red corsets and appealing stockings made the performance even more complete to their sexy dance.

Beyonce’s latest album, “I am… Sasha Fierce”, has hit the charts from all over the world with five number one singles, including the two award winning singles. Also, a deluxe edition of the album is going to be released on 23rd of November, featuring the number one hits and two bonus tracks, one of them being the famous duet with Lady Gaga, “Video Phone”.

The talented female artist keeps amazing the public with her number one singles and incredible performances. The hot corset in which she performed for “Sweet Dreams”, perfectly completed her thanks to husband Jay-Z and once again left the crowd with an unforgettable appearance at the Berlin Wall.

Heidi Klum Hosting the 2009 Victoria’s Secret Show

The fresh supermodel mom, Heidi Klum, cannot be on the catwalk this time, but she can surely host the show. One of the world’s highest paid model, decided not to struggle with post pregnancy weight, but wait a bit more and be the host of the glamorous lingerie fashion show.

The Germain supermodel just gave birth to her fourth child, a daughter named Lou Sulola Samuel. She managed to loose her pregnancy weight remarkably fast after each child, but being mother of four children now, Heidi decided can’t get back in shape in only 6 weeks.

Last year, after giving birth to her third child, she managed to get in shape after only 8 weeks and run the catwalk as any other supermodel. Marisa Miller is said to take her role of wearing the diamond bra this year and Heidi is going to host the show.

This years Victoria’s Fashion Show will take place on 19th of November, but will get aired only on 1st of December, featuring the Black Eyed Peas performance. Victoria’s Fashion Show is the most high profile fashion show in the lingerie industry and Heidi is irreplaceable in it. They didn’t want her to miss this show either, so making her the host was one of the best ideas possible. She is probably going to look amazing, with an exceptional body even if it will be only 6 weeks after her giving birth.

Heidi might not run the catwalk this year, but hosting it makes the show just as hot as having her in the glamorous lingeries. So be ready to experience the other great talent of the supermodel Heidi Klum, and watch her being a host.

The MTV Europe Music Awards 2009 super show was held in Berlin, Germany this Thursday, November 5 with big names and fab performances!

The hostess of the show was Katy Perry dressed in an array of crazy designer outfits. Her best outfit is the embroidered Marchesa dress she wore on the red carpet and looked stunning with Katy’s sophisticated updo – the nude one-shoulder draped tulle strapless gown is from the Marchesa 2010 Spring collection.

At the 2009 MTV EMAs the ultimate winner was Beyonce, taking home the honors for Best Video, Best Song and Best Female. On the red carpet the flaunted her curves in an Atelier Versace metallic bodice gown, that she pulled off to perfection.
She was wearing her long mane styled with defined spiral curls.

On stage, Beyonce wore a sexy red corset, suspenders and red gloves while performing her hit song “Sweet Dreams”.

Another show-stopping appearance at the 2009 MTV EMAs was Leona Lewis wearing a black Vivienne Westwood corset gown with her glossy curly locks swept over her shoulder.

Shakira rocked the red carpet wearing a silver shimmery mini dress, Versace Spring 2010 strappy platforms with her hair pulled back into a sleek pony.
