The masks that are prepared at home revitalizes your skin. Skin absorbs healing and purifying agents through masks. Masks which help skin to renew itself, soothe skin and stimulate blood circulation. That sleep and balanced diet are two important factors for skin should not be forgotten.

There are lots of things that you should consider while preparing natural cosmetic products at home. As natural cosmetic products do not contain any artificial substances, you must take care of storing and the durability. Vegetable oils can last for several months without spoiling. Creams and lotions should be used within a maximum of two weeks. Natural cosmetics prepared in the kitchen do not give harm to skin, hair and nail. But problems may occur during treatment.

Natural cosmetic products may sometimes cause acne and inflammation of skin pores to those who already use ready cosmetics. The situation is different for allergies. The skin may give reactions after a short time later to some of the plants or plant oils such as rash or itching. In this case, the prescription that cause allergies cannot be followed anymore. Recommended dosages can be used without exceeding. Even a few more drops of essential oils sometimes can lead to significant changes.  Unless essential oils appear in the recipe, you should not apply to your skin directly. Here are the masks that can be prepared at home.
Oatmeal mask: Apply the cooked oatmeal to your face, wait 15 minutes to dry. Then clean your face with warm water. You can also apply this mask on your body. You will notice changes in your skin immediately. It is very effective for cleaning of the skin throughly and getting rid of blackheads. This mask also prevents excess sebum.

Avocado mask: It is an ideal solution for your face to get rid of the effect of the harsh winter season. Add a few drops of olive oil and lemon juice to mashed avocado. Apply this mixture to your face and wait for ten minutes. Avocado mask not only destroys the rough layer of your skin, but also provides the needed vitamins.

Lemon peeling: It is applied for oily skin. The ingredients are two tablespoons of grated lemon peel, two tablespoons of oat flour and six tablespoons of whole wheat flour and some water. Mix all of the ingredients. You can apply the mixture to your face by massaging with circular motions for two or three minutes. You can wash your face with plenty of warm water.
Chamomile oil: It can be applied for all kinds of skin. 30 grams of  camomile, 100 ml of sesame oil and 100 ml of red centaury oil are mixed. These are put into a glass jar and  is waited in very hot water for an hour. Mixture is filtered through a cloth. You apply to your face with a piece of cotton soaked in the mixture.

Lavender water: It is recommended for mixed skin. You can apply to your face neck and decolletage by soaking a piece of cotton with lavender water every morning and evening. Lavender water for oily skin: This mixture refreshes the skin. The ingredients are 50 ml of lavender water, two or three drops of peppermint oil and and a teaspoon of apple vinegar. Put all of them into a glass bowl. Then mix by shaking. You can aply to your face and neck by soaking a piece of cotton with this mixture.
