Herbal tea is not only be consumed for the taste, but also for the benefits for our health.
Black tea: Black tea reduces the risk of heart attack. The antioxidants in it strengthen the immune system. Drinking five cups of black tea a day reduces cholesterol, reduces the risk of heart attacks, and protects our body against infections. If you consider the damage to get more caffeine, the caffeine ratio is lower in tea than coffee. However, excessive consumption of tea is said to reduce iron levels. In order to prevent this, you should not drink tea with meals.
Green tea: Green tea has nearly the same properties with black tea. It is a very strong antioxidant which protects against diseases of the immune system. It is affective against the germs and protects the body.
Fruit tea: Instead of drinking black tea with sugar everyday, you can try delicious non-sugar fruit tea. So you can keep fit. Although the beneficial effects on health of fruit tea are less than herbal tea, it contains no caffeine.
Cinnamon tea: It is said that cinnamon tea is beneficial for having a good sleep and relaxing your nerves. Drinking a cup of cinnamon tea before going to bed helps you to sleep comfortably. You should prefer cinnamon tea prepared with fresh cinnamon to be more effective for preventing stomach cramps.
Ginger tea: It is effective for nausea. It also accelerates blood circulation and the taste of this tea is very good. It can reduce problems such as colds and sore throats.
Raspberry tea: Raspberry is rich in calcium, iron and magnesium which are useful for menstrual period. Drinking a cup of raspberry tea a few days before the menstrual period helps to reduce your pain. So you can feel more comfortable.
Mint tea: It helps digestion. Drinking a cup of mint tea especially after a heavy meal, it can help you to digest more easily. Moreover, the taste of it is very delicious.
