Type two: The people around the patient notice the bad odor of the patient. 50 percent of the patients consult a dentist. Type three: Halitosis is not noticed by the patient or the other people. The patient only suspects. Most of these kind of patients consult a dentist.
The causes of the halitosis are sinus and lung infections, diabetes, renal failure, liver failure, metabolic disorders, diet and so on. The causes of halitosis are as a result of 87 percent of oral cavity. This type of halitosis cases are not complex. The reason can be defined in the first physical examination. It can be easily treated. Sometimes even the patient itself can indicate the source of the odor.
Here are some tips for the treatment of oral cavity. Protect your teeth and gums. Tooth decay, gum inflammation are one of the causes of halitosis. For this reason you should take care of the suggestions of your dentist. Dental health is on the first stage to fight against bad breath. Chew gum. Saliva is the most powerful way to fight against bad breath. Chewing sugar-free gum helps to clean your mouth by increasing your saliva. Use cinnamon. You can use cinnamon in your drinks or foods. It fights against the bacterias in the mouth. Drink more water. Consuming more water prevents your tongue dry and also increases saliva. Do not sleep when your nostrils are plugged. This causes you to breath from your mouth. It creates an ideal environment for the increasing of the bacterias. Decreasing saliva makes the situation worse. Reduce your consumption of sugar. Sugar causes tooth decay and gives harm to your oral health. Chew foods well. Thus, saliva mixes with foods. Use dental floss. You can remove all the foods and bacterias. Do not smoke as it causes your mouth to dry.
