How is orthodontic treatment

For orthodontic treatment ,fixed or removable appliance can be used. This treatment of the teeth or jaws are made by applying a slight force. Treatment is determined according to the severity of your problem.

The appliances which is using in the treatment
1 – Fixed Orthodontic Brackets

Dental treatment is made with the pasted bracket. Brackets can be made of metal or tooth-colored ceramic or plastic. They often use in the permanent teeth. Brackets are glued on teeth , wires are passed through the brackets.By the brachets and wires’ forces teeth are moved to proper position.
2-Removal Apparatus

Apparatus that are able to insert and remove the patient’s own. These apparatus are applied in simple cases and in the early phase of treatment.
3 – Functional / Orthopedic Appliances

These apparatus are often used before the puberty to reorder relationship between lower and upper jaws.(orthopedic problems).Functional appliances ,which can be inserted and removed by the patients,are often used with fixed appliances.

4 – Orthognatic Surgery

Orthognathic surgery are used to correct conditions which can not be fixed by orthodontic or orthopedic therapy.
