How is HPV spread

How is HPV spread?

If the contact with the HPV infected areas occurs, the HPV spread skin to skin. The virus can live in the skin without showing any symptoms. That is the reason why most people do not know that they have HPV or they can spread it. One who exposed to low-risk genital wart which causes HPV 6 and 11 strains usually takes six weeks to three months for genital wart appearance. The high-risk HPV can only be detected with Pap test and HPV tests, because HPV has no symptoms.
It is a fact that condoms do not always protect you against virus. Because, the virus can grow all the areas besides areas covered by latex. Infection with genital HPV has not been proved. It is also not known whether transmitting of HPV with sexual contact is much more common than skin to skin contact or not.
