the day more romantic than any other day?

February is coming, and it will bring the day of love with it.
Most of the lovers are already planning for the day.
What gift to give, where to meet, what to do to make the day more romantic than any other day?

Why and how is Valentine’s Day celebrated?

No one quite knows, why it is celebrated, but it surely makes a big difference in life of lovers. This is the most important day for lovers. They all go mad in love on this day,and can think of nothing but how to please their beloved. It is recorded that business of jewelry takes a big jump during February. So does the business of flowers, candies and cards. Every other gift that can be thought of is bought across most of the countries of the world and is sent to the beloved.
Valentine’s Day may be the most important day for those in love. What about others? Let us take a look at today’s world. Wars, terrorism, fear, murders, and every other destruction that can disturb a peaceful life is the norm. Open a newspaper, watch news on television or read it on Internet, the disturbing news is getting predominance. It depresses the common person in the world. Isn’t it? What does a common person think of the future of such a world? Can anyone be optimistic? Can anyone visualize of peace dawning around the world, countries co existing in peace with each other and no ethnic wars being fought anywhere?
What does one look forward to in such a world? I think that most of us have become so numb with disturbances, both man made and natural that we have stopped thinking of future. For a large majority it is “let us try to live peacefully today

Valentine’s Day and the world peace -

With so much destruction going around, shouldn’t one welcome a day, when love reigns supreme? A day, when hatred and destruction takes back seat and one only thinks of love? What if we begin a new way of celebration? Begin sending love messages to our enemies. Begin talking of love and peace and try something that can reduce our conflicts with others? Why keep the day confined to romantic love. Take a step forward and make it a day to make every human being love another.

Irrespective of race, nation, religion, etc. Break all the outer barriers and try to touch the heart of all we can? Can this be done? Let us at least think of Valentine’s Day as a day, when all the hatred and enmity is forgotten and it is the song of love that is played around. Is that not a big contribution of this day? That is why it is so important.

acnescarScars are the worst part of acne, and they may cling to your skin all through your life, if you do not pay attention to them and use somescar treatmentremedies.

Advisably, as soon as the problem of acne is resolved you should begin exploring acne scar removaloptions, and when you do so look for the homemade remedies and over the counter medicines first, than jumping straight on for expensive cosmetic and surgical treatments.

If the scars are not too severe, they will go away with some simple homemade remedies, and if they are a little stubborn you might have to use some medication on them.

However, cosmetic and surgical procedures are justified only if the scars are severe and pitted. Before you decide what type of treatment you need, you need to understand a bit more about the different types of acne scars.

There are two types of scars, the first type is known as pigmented scar and it simply means that the color of the affected area has changed to red or brown, the second type is pitted scars in which the tissue below the skin is damaged. All scars which fit into the first category are easily treatable with homemade remedies and over the counter medication.

The natural homemade alternatives

•    Sandal wood powder mixed with rosewater applied to the area regularly can lighten the scars, significantly. Let the paste stay on the affected area for a few hours everyday, or still better let it be on your skin overnight. And to get even better results rub some ice on the skin before applying the mix.

•    Cucumber and tomato juice added to fresh garlic paste also works wonders in removing acne scars  naturally. After washing off this paste use some fresh cucumber juice to tone up the skin.

•    Turmeric and vinegar paste can also help in clearing up your skin of unwanted scars and marks.

•    If you have some aloe-Vera growing in your garden then mash its pulp and apply it to your face skin and besides removing scars it will leave your skin radiant and glowing.

effects of alchohol on women body

There are many women who have developed habits of intake of hard drinks regularly. It has been observed that number of women taking drinks have been increased a lot compared to the same in the last two decades.

Researches have found that risk of cancers is highly associated with intake of drinks by women. It is said that even a little amount of alcoholism drink harmful effects to women body in this aspect.

Women with family history of cancer are at higher risk of having cancer if they drink alcohol. There are many women who take a few sips in weekends and this little amount of alcohol, though surprising to think, increases the risk for cancer among them. It is therefore always better to avoid alcohol completely in your lifestyle.

Women drink alcohol for several reasons. They may drink due to habit; they may take it while in parties. There are women who are addicted with alcohol and feel difficult to get rid of this habit. Study shows that number of women taking alcohol to combat with frustration is also on higher side. Many women are aware of the facts of chance of getting cancer by use of alcohol and many are simply not. Among the cancers that women suffer from are cancer of breast, oral cavity, throat, pharynx, liver, stomach and rectum.

There is a saying that alcohol, especially Red Wine, is good for heart health if taken in correct measure regularly. You will find many women drinking alcohol only for maintaining a good heart health. However, that again eventually increases chance of getting cancer.

This is such a conflict that it has already put most women in a dilemma about what to do or not. A knowledgeable medical practitioner can better talk about it, but it is always advisable to follow other ways of maintaining good heart health and drop the habit of drinking alcohol for ever.

show your courage RED LIPSTICK

red_lipstick_how_to

Red lipstick is a universal classic and has yet to go out of style, according to the fashion magazines, yet many women assume they can’t wear it. They’re wrong. Here we show you how.

Rule No. 1: The secret lies in the rest of your face. The paler the skin, the bigger the pop. Go light on the eyes and the blush, otherwise you’ll risk looking like a clown (Cameron Diaz made this fatal mistake at the 2007 Golden Globes). Here’s how to do it: Skip eyeliner and go only for mascara (black for brunettes, brown for blondes and redheads), making sure to apply to bottom lashes (it opens up your eyes). Dust face with powder and cheeks with a soft blush.

Rule No. 2: Line inside of lips Red lipstick tends to bleed, so fill in lips with lip liner first, suggests makeup artist Ashunta Sheriff in the December 2006 issue of Harper’s Bazaar.

Rule No. 3: Pick the right color If your complexion is pink, you’ll look better in plum shades, while girls with yellow tones are flattered by warmer reds that have a brown base, according to celebrity makeup artist Jemma Kidd in the December 2005 issue of Harper’s.

Rule No. 4: Don’t let nails clash We prefer non-red nail polish when you’re going red on the lips. A clear polish or light color is cool, and black polish is a trend that shows no sign of going away anytime soon. If you want to go red on the nails, make sure the color matches your lips. I strongly feel Essie makes the best nail polishes. Check out your red options here.

Rule No. 5: Blending is in Few makeup artists stick to one shade of any lipstick, they tend to blend a few to create the perfect colors. If you’ve bought a red lipstick shade that’s too bright, dark or whatever, don’t throw it away. Instead, experiment with other lipstick shades you have on hand to create the perfect shade of red.
